Program Objective
The Post Graduate Programe in Business Excellence PGP(BE) is a truly innovative programe, aimed at meeting the basic needs of the modern Indian organization which is more knowledge-based and information-intensive.
The programme is divided into 2 levels and as a participant you will:
- Acquire a managerial education that will influence your thinking and achievements throughout your life;
- Acquire skills in all the functional areas of management;
- Learn ethical and moral values and positive attitudes for societal well-being;
- Make decisions in business situations;
- Learn how to assess yourself and motivate others;
- Develop a professional level of presentational writing and skills of articulation;
- Apply skills in problem definition and analysis.

Course Structure
The PGP (Business Excellence) at Stevens is divided into Level 'A' and Level 'B”. Level 'A' – Foundation, which is 11 Months in duration, is designed to teach the core concepts and in-depth knowledge of General Management. It gives you exposure in developing your leadership skills and overall grooming for the business world. After completion of the Level A, the Students go in for Level B, which is again 11 months in duration. This includes a 3 month Summer Internship Training at a Corporate. The Summer Internship would involve the students to see the different aspects of a business, and experience the practical aspects of everything they have learnt in the classes. On successful completion of the Summer Internship, the students will move to the Level B, wherein they will have the option of taking electives like Marketing, Finance and Human Resources to develop their skills. |
Minimum Eligibility
A three-year bachelor's degree or its equivalent in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities will be eligible for Post-Graduate studies with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks or its equivalent. |
Selection
MAT (Management aptitude Test): The applicant will have to appear for written test MAT to be conducted by All India Management association (AIMA) If not having any valid score then has to appear SBS – Aptitude Test for PGP. |
Group discussion and Interview :
The candidate short listed through the written test at the institute (MAT and / or SBS own entrance test) will be called for the Group Discussion and personal Interview. |
How to Apply
Obtain a SBS prospectus and application form from Stevens Business School, on payment of Rs. 700/- in cash or by DD of Rs. 750/- in favor of “Stevens Education and Career Development Academy Pvt. Ltd.” payable of Ahmedabad (Includes the SBS test). Short listed candidates will be called for further process of group discussion and personal Interview. |

Summer Placements
Summer training is a major component of the learning process at our Institute. Every student is required to undergo summer training for 8-10 weeks with in organization. On successful completion of the training, a student is required to make a presentation which is evaluated by the faculty for promotion to the second year. |

Final Placement Procedure
An organisation can indicate its interest in providing employment to the students of our Institute through written or verbal correspondence. The organization may, specify the job profile and the requisite academic background of students to the institute. Based on these, on –campus interviews would be arranged for preliminary screening and short-listing.This could then be followed up by off campus interviews, where necessary, to facilitate the final recruitment of eligible students. |
